yankee game...

Went to the Yankee game yesterday with my two boys and father-in-law. Great day for baseball...joba pitched...mo closed...yanks stole four bases...arod got the winning hit...padres made a couple of great catches and some dumb base running blunders.

Long Valley Speedway update

Well here's the latest updates on the Long Valley Speedway.

I decided to make some scenery...this is my first attempt.

A little corner mountain. Styorofoam and "Great Stuff" foam spray...it really is great stuff. That along with some spray paint and some hobby shop lichen.

From there I decided to make a tunnel...added in the troops.

They're there to defend the track and our country, so that t.v. watching couch potatoes and fried chicken eating slobs can watch the races in peace.

Which leads me to my next project...the bleacher..inhabited by bleacher creatures. Pretty much just a piece of Styrofoam painted with hammered metallic paint. The people are Homies and Trailer Park Homies.

My new hobby. The kids got a set of HO racecars for Christmas and it brought back memories of when I was a kid and had a set.

So my family got me a set for my birthday. So I had to build a table for it. This was the first attempt...an L shape...it's changed now to just a long table.
